So, the very small meet-up was a smashing success, at least from my perspective (I'll let Meowser weigh in herself).
It turned out to be a gorgeous day (meaning, it hardly rained, wasn't freezing cold and there was a brief guest appearance by the sun).
Meowser was a charming guest and companion.
Little human being was crabby and grumpy and not as friendly as usual, and Mr. Rounded gave us a break after our Farmer's Market outing, and gave me a free afternoon to do things I never get to do, basically to be a tourist in my own town. Meowser and I saw Olympia's gorgeous
Legislative Building and Rotunda for the first time (embarrassing, as I've lived here for four years). We went to a shop and I bought a
gorgeous bra (which Mr. Rounded also thinks looks very nice) that truly fits (lifts, separates, etc). Had amazing
coffee and snacks. Visited more shops and
bookstores, and then came home and ate fresh-from-the-market home-roasted chestnuts, and other stuff prepared by Mr. Rounded. The most fun and relaxing day I've had in a long time, peppered with great conversation between like minds. Little human succumbed to sleep early. So, thank you so much, Meowser, for a lovely day.
I'll need to go down to Portland soon. If/when I can, we'll plan another meet up there. Fun!
Wishing everyone a week of relaxing fun, in kind,
WRT2

Hey, if you come down here, I want to meet up, too! Also, is there a place to buy that bra in Olympia? I might just stop there next time I drive up to Seattle if there is such a place.
@Stellamama - I would love to meet up with you when the next meet up happens.
Here's the store that the bra was purchased at:

It's right downtown -- easy on/off from I-5 and near great places to get food/coffee or peruse the capitol.
They are pricey but have a nice selection of fancy bras in sizes at the higher end of the spectrum.
